For S+R’s townhome, one of the key goals was to bring warmth to the space, to feel welcoming to all who come through the door. A beloved expression sharing family mantras became the inspiration of the design.
In this house:

We hug often.
We make mistakes.
We never give up.
We always forgive.
We keep our promises.
We always have fun.
But above all we love.
The artwork became the centerpiece and reminder at the front entryway. Family photos line the hallway and stairs to evoke fond memories. Bookends on the console are a small reminder of S+R’s hometowns. The natural textures in the runners, bench and shoe baskets add to the feeling of a warm and welcoming home.
